Service Description
Want a relationship tune-up that helps you communicate better, repair faster, and create a stronger, more intentional partnership? The Seven Principles Workshop is a Gottman-informed, skills-based couples workshop built from decades of relationship research and the book The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work. This is not therapy—it’s structured relationship education designed to help you strengthen friendship, improve communication, and manage conflict in a way that protects connection. Over two days, you and your partner will learn practical tools and complete guided exercises together so you leave with shared language, clear next steps, and strategies you can keep using at home. Whether you’re feeling disconnected, stuck in the same arguments, or simply want a relationship “tune-up,” this workshop gives you a research-backed roadmap for building a stronger, more intentional partnership. What couples can expect: - A clear 2-day format spread across 2 weeks with guided teaching + real-life application - Short teaching segments + guided couple exercises (hands-on, not lecture-heavy) - A focus on friendship and emotional connection (knowing each other deeply, turning toward, fondness/admiration) - Tools for conflict management (soft start-up, repair attempts, self-soothing, compromise) - Support in identifying solvable vs. ongoing issues and how to handle both - Skills to reduce negative cycles and increase warmth, respect, and teamwork - A chance to build shared meaning—values, rituals, and what you want your “us” to stand for - A learning environment where you can participate at your comfort level (no forced sharing) - Practical take-home exercises you can repeat to stay connected long after the workshop
