Hello
I’m Tanaii Wellington, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in couples therapy and relationships. I’m trained in Gottman-informed approaches and am passionate about helping people build stronger, healthier, and more genuine connections.
I believe relationships are at the center of the human experience. The way we connect, communicate, trust, and feel seen by others shapes how we move through the world. Romantic relationships, especially, can bring a deep sense of security, partnership, and belonging and when they’re nurtured well, they can become one of the most meaningful parts of our lives.

Through Bond & Bloom Workshops, I create a space where people can learn practical relationship tools in a way that feels engaging, supportive, and real. I’m a people person through and through, and I believe people learn best when they feel comfortable, included, and actually connected to the experience. My style is hands-on and interactive, with a fun and down-to-earth feel. My goal is for every participant to leave feeling more confident, more clear, and more equipped to build the kind of relationship they truly want.

My Story
About eight years ago, I asked a guy I had been seeing for about a month to attend a Gottman Relationship Workshop with me—right in the middle of that exciting, confusing, butterfly-filled “talking phase.” I was pleasantly surprised when he agreed because, for all he knew, he was signing up for therapy with a girl he had just met. Thankfully, he didn’t take my interest in building a strong relationship foundation as a red flag, and good thing because he later became my husband. Now, he’s the person I adore most, and it definitely doesn’t hurt that he can communicate effectively, handle conflict with care, and stay attuned to my needs (thank you, Gottman workshop!). Looking back, that workshop ended up being one of the earliest investments we made in what we were building together. It gave our relationship an intentional start, something that has stayed with us years later.

After that experience, I knew I wanted to help other people find what I had found: a more grounded, intentional way of building a relationship. Because let’s be honest, dating and relationships today can feel overwhelming. Between mixed messages online, endless opinions, red flags, green flags, “icks,” and all the chaos that comes with social media and online dating, it’s easy to lose sight of what actually matters: the relationship itself and the clarity to build it well.
That's what lead me to create Bond & Bloom Workshops. What makes these workshops special is that even in a room full of others, the experience still feels personal. Participants get to take what they’re learning and apply it to their own relationship, values, and goals in a way that feels real and doable.
At the core of it all, I care deeply about this work because relationships matter. Finding someone you can build with, grow with, trust, and feel safe with is one of life’s greatest gifts. I want to help people create relationships rooted in mutual understanding, confidence, and connection, not outside pressure.
