We provide relationship education workshops for singles and couples (including “Bringing Baby Home” and “The Seven Principles” style educational workshops). Our workshops are educational in nature and are not a substitute for mental health treatment, diagnosis, or therapy.

Workshop Disclaimer

 

Educational Purpose

Workshops provided by Bond & Bloom Workshops LLC are educational and skills-based. They are designed for education, reflection, and practical relationship skill-building. It is not therapy, crisis intervention, domestic violence intervention, addiction treatment, or a substitute for individualized care. Participation may be declined or discontinued if the workshop is not an appropriate fit, including situations involving acute emotional crisis, active addiction, abuse-related safety concerns, or other issues requiring a higher level of support. Referrals may be provided when appropriate.

Not Therapy / No Clinical Relationship

Participation in a workshop does not create a therapist-client relationship, and workshops or check-ins are not psychotherapy, counseling, diagnosis, or treatment. If you need individualized clinical support, you should seek therapy with a licensed provider.

Not Emergency Services

Workshops are not appropriate for emergencies. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. You may also contact 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the U.S.) for immediate support.

Personal Responsibility

You are responsible for your own emotional and physical well-being during and after the workshop. You may choose your level of participation and may step away from activities or discussions at any time.

No Guarantees

We do not guarantee specific outcomes. Your results depend on many factors, including your engagement, personal circumstances, and continued practice of skills.

Sensitive Topics

Relationship education can bring up emotional topics. We encourage you to share only what you feel comfortable sharing and to consider additional support if needed.

Group Confidentiality (Workshops with Group Discussion)

We ask all participants to respect the privacy of others and to keep personal information shared in the group confidential. However, we cannot guarantee confidentiality of other participants’ actions or statements outside the workshop.​​

​Waitlist Policy: 

If a workshop sells out, you may join the waitlist. If a spot opens, we’ll email you in order of sign-up. You’ll have 24 hours to register before the spot is offered to the next person.

Terms & Policies
1) Registration and Participation

By registering for a workshop, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate registration information

  • Follow workshop guidelines and respectful group conduct

  • Participate in a way that supports a safe, learning-centered environment

Workshop Eligibility, Safety, and Right to Refuse Service:

Our workshops are educational experiences intended for couples and individuals who are appropriate for a structured, skills-based relationship workshop format. Workshops are not therapy, crisis response, domestic violence intervention, addiction treatment, or a substitute for individualized clinical care.

 

For safety and appropriateness, all participants are required to complete a screening form before registration is approved. We reserve the right to determine, in our sole professional discretion, whether a workshop is an appropriate fit.

We may decline, postpone, cancel, or discontinue participation at any time if:

  • There are active safety concerns related to abuse, domestic violence, coercion, intimidation, or fear within the relationship

  • There is active addiction or another issue requiring more specialized care

  • The couple presents with acute or serious relationship distress that is not appropriate for an educational workshop setting

  • Either partner is unwilling or unable to participate respectfully and safely

  • The participant is experiencing acute emotional crisis or severe instability

  • The participant is unable to engage appropriately in an educational workshop setting

  • The workshop is otherwise not clinically or ethically appropriate

If an individual or couple is not approved or is later determined not to be an appropriate fit, we may recommend couples therapy, individual therapy, addiction treatment, domestic violence resources, or other supportive services.

 

We reserve the right to refuse or remove participants who engage in disruptive, unsafe, or harassing behavior. In such cases, refunds may be handled at our discretion.

2) Workshop Format

Workshops may be offered:

  • Live virtual (video platform)

  • In-person at a venue

  • Hybrid (if specified)

We may update workshop details (time, format, platform) as needed and will notify registered participants of material changes.

3) Payment

Payment is due at registration unless otherwise stated. If using a third-party processor (e.g., Wix Payments/Affirm/Klarna/Afterpay/Stripe/Eventbrite), your payment is subject to their terms in addition to ours.

4) Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancellation, Late Arrivals, and No-Shows: 

  • Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule any Follow-Up Sessions (Singles, Couples, or Family Check-Ins).

  • Please provide at least 14 days’ notice to cancel or reschedule any Workshops (Singles, Couples, or Families).

  • Late cancellations and no-shows may be counted as a used session.

  • If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time (sessions are not extended).

Payment + Refunds: 

  • Payment is due in full at the time of purchase.

​

Screening and Refund Policy:

 

If a couple is found to be ineligible for the workshop before participation begins, any refund will be handled in accordance with the workshop’s posted cancellation and refund policy. If ineligibility or safety concerns are identified after registration, we reserve the right to cancel participation and issue a refund, partial refund, credit, or no refund depending on the timing, circumstances, and administrative costs already incurred.

 

Workshops (Singles, Couples, Families):

  • 14+ days before the workshop: You may cancel for a full refund, minus any non-refundable processing fees.

  • 13 days or less before the workshop: No refunds. You may request to transfer your registration to a future workshop (if space is available) or receive credit valid for 90 days.

  • No-shows / partial attendance: No refunds or credits.

Follow-Up Sessions (Singles, Couples, Family Check-Ins):

  • Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.

  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice and no-shows are not refundable and may be counted as a used session.

​

Packages (Support Pass / Bundles): 

  • Package purchases are non-refundable once the first session is used.

  • Unused sessions can be rescheduled with 48 hours’ notice and must be used within 90 days before they expire.

If We Cancel: 

  • If we need to cancel or reschedule a workshop or session, you may choose a full refund or transfer/credit.

How to Request a Refund: 

5) Attendance and Missed Sessions

 

Workshops are live learning experiences. If you miss a session, we are not obligated to provide a make-up session or individualized recap unless stated.

6) Materials and Intellectual Property

 

​All workshop materials (handouts, slides, recordings if any, worksheets, and exercises) are the intellectual property of The Gottman Institute unless otherwise stated. Materials are for personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or resold without written permission.

7) Recording Policy​

 

​Limited recording by us:
We may record limited teaching portions for internal use or participants, but we do not record participant sharing without explicit consent. Participants may not record or take photographs.

​

8) Participant Conduct and Group Guidelines 

 

​To maintain a safe educational environment, participants agree to:

  • Treat others with respect

  • Avoid harassment, threats, or discriminatory language

  • Not interrupt or dominate group space

  • Maintain confidentiality of personal information shared by others

  • Avoid sharing identifying details about third parties when possible

9) Intake-Style Questions

 

We may offer intake-style questions before and/or during workshops to tailor teaching and improve the experience.

11) Limitation of Liability

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bond & Bloom Workshops LLC is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from participation in workshops. You understand workshops are educational and you assume responsibility for how you use the information.
